IMAGINATION
The most useless part of human brain is the capability to imagine.
I'll start with a less attacking one.
Why do people become addicted to drugs?The imagination of being in a more comfortable state. Eventually it harms.
Yes or no?
Very similarly, human brain always wants to make tasks done easier. For this it uses our imagination. We imagine a more comfortable state and invent tools to make things easier. Thus we also harm ourselves.
Yes or no?
I know many people will tell about medical science. But, my humble request is to think about all other creatures. Don't they survive? Don't they treat themselves?
Yes they do. Even a dog knows what to do when feeling discomfort in it's stomach. All other species on earth takes medicine from this nature without any modification. Only we need to modify things. And that brings disaster. We will consider the great advancement of healthcare technology. But if we didn't loose our natural shield, none of these latest pandemics would happen. We increased the power of medicine to fight against the germs and the germs also empowered themselves to fight against us. Actually we want to avoid death.
Is it possible?
We rather accept unnatural death instead of natural death.
When we talk about our safety, we obviously mention high-tech security system.

Trees save our infrastructure from various natural calamities. In case of an earthquake, we will surely prefer an open field or forest than the strongest concrete tower. Buildings cannot protect us or give us life saving materials, nature can.
